There is a beautiful composition in every corner of Rome. A beautiful city with amazing architecture which was a delight for me while trying out my hand at street photography.

In this photo, I played a bit with hue and colours to accentuate the yellows of the Roman buildings.

I wish that Fujifilm C200 film did better in bright light. Or maybe it was my bad that I might have overexposed bits of the photo. Well, I still like how the Basilica beautifully towers on the alleys in the centre of Rome.

Maybe not much to write home about but this photo was taken in London – my favourite city for street photography. I mostly look for the older architecture and the stories behind it but that day, I was in a mood to capture different shapes that you come across in the cities.

    I really like that quote about when in Rome. You definitely show the quote to be true. Interesting what you said about the film, maybe it isn’t the right film for that sort of photography. Films all have a type of photography they are most suited too. Maybe you need to experiment. Sorry if I have overstepped.

      Not at all 🙂 I am a newbie with film and I love the analogue talk 🙂 Recently, I started trying out Lomography films and I am quite pleased with the results. Presently, I am trying out Lomochrome Purple – it is my first “tint” film, if that is the right word. I am eager to finish the roll and upload the results 🙂

      Rome is just stunning in every corner. I almost regret not spending more time there 🙂

    Welcome to the challenge, Mayank! I’m delighted you joined us. You’ve highlighted 2 cities that I love. And yes, the light in Rome is wonderful as your images show. The tree shadows/designs are an intriguing juxtaposition on the building. Wonderful!
