I love this picture! I have been trying to get good photos of birds lately but with my 40-150mm kit lens, I always fall short of reach. I got lucky with this photo because this Robin was not evasive at all. It rather posed for me for sometime before eventually flying away. That gave me plenty of time to click some good pictures using my manual lens – yes! a manual focus lens for this photo (Olympus Zuiko 50mm 1.8).
I did not even know that it was called a Robin until I came back home and looked it up.
